    Hey Carrie, I'm working on a family tree and I'm following a branch that you may be able to help me out with. Norbert Jeckering is the name of my Great Uncle. I believe he may have been a child of Joseph Herman Jeckering (1870-1931) & Rose A. Horn (1872-1933) and a sibling to Gerhard Jeckering (1900-1967). Anywyays, any info you have would be awesome.

    Hello Carrie!

    In your research of the Jeckering family tree, have you ever come across any Yeckering’s?

    I’ve always heard the German J sounds like an English Y, so I suspect there could have been some relation there and a misspelling occurred at some point.
