Paul was the 1st of 8 children.

Cletus Jeckering (1900-1967) & Josephine M. Alexinas (Dabuliewicz)(1906-1965)
In 1940 (age 14),
the Jeckering family lived at 2334 Newport Ave in Dayton.

Paul went to
Chaminade-Julienne Catholic High School, located at 505 South Ludlow St. in
Dayton, Ohio.
He played in the
school band, although I don’t know what instrument he played. He did earn a
letter.

Before Paul even
graduated from high school, he enlisted in the army.

During his time in
the Army, Paul earned the Philippine Liberation, Bronze Star Metal.
Marriage:

Between 1948 & 1954, Paul and Dorothy had 4 children.
Paul, Dorothy and their 4 children lived at 336 North Upland Ave in Dayton.
Illness & Death:
Around 1948, Paul
was diagnosed with Lupus erythematosus with terminal uremia, which eventually
killed him on 11 Jan 1954, a couple months before his fourth child was born.
