17. Robert A. Dickson "Bus"
Robert's yearbook description:
"Ye olde classe cutte-uppe! This lad, a budding army man, possesses an inimitable knack of manifesting his presence with unsolicited witticisms and mischievous pranks. Bus is constantly palpitating with excess energy".
18. Francis B. Dineen "Frank"
Francis' yearbook description:
"Unless you crave annihilation, never address this boy as Francis. Dinny has a remarkably independent spirit. He'll brook no opposition. His horoscope indicates an aptitude for accomplishment, such as exploring the Gobi Desert".

In June 1942, Carl married Alberta Irene Hecht (1922-2017) and they had 7 children. In 1950, Carl was still living in Dayton, working as a tool designer for a rubber molding factory. He was living with his wife Alberta and two of their children Carol and William C.
Carl died at the age of 64 and is buried in Calvary Cemetery in Dayton, Ohio.

"Earl comes from a family of basketball players and truly he has lived up to its traditions. Without him the varsity was like a chicken with it's head struck off".
