Greenberry and Madeline- I'd guess about 1880s
This picture amuses me-- the expressions on their faces are so interesting! Madeline looks so serious, almost like she's upset and then Greenberry looks like he's holding back laughter.
Also- I'm wondering what is in Madeline's hands-- maybe a handkerchief or something?
I recently saw a movie called A Million Ways to Die in the West --directed by Seth McFarlane. There was this scene where one person was telling another person that they heard about a person who had actually smiled in a picture. It was so common to not smile because it took so long to actually take the picture.
