Wednesday's Portrait- Cecilia Christine Brinkman

Happy Hump Day!

Today’s Portrait-

 Cecilia Christine Brinkman
b. 21 Jan 1902    Dayton, Ohio
d. 25 Dec 1990   Dayton, Ohio

Cecilia- about 1915,1916

I love this picture because it reminds me of Louisa May Alcott's Little Women. Obviously I know there is a time gap between when that book was written and when this picture was taken, but that doesn't matter. Every little detail about this picture, I love:
Her curls, the bow in her hair, the pearl necklace, the gleaming smile on her face- she's really enjoying the paper that she's reading. I wish I knew what she was looking at- although, it does appear to be something with pictures, maybe an article in a newspaper or magazine.

How Cecilia is related to me- 1st cousin, 3x removed
