All we know about Adelaide was that she was born in 1897. She married Frank J. Westgerdes (1897-1980) and she had one daughter- Rita Mae Westgerdes (1925-2008). Rita married my 2nd cousin, 2x removed- Aloysius Henry Trick (1925-2009).

I was very happy to find a lot of information for Adelaide! Her full name was:

Parents- Bernard James Otting (1856-1917) & Mary Josephine Rathweg (1859-1944).
The Otting Family: Adelaide's grandfather- Bernard Otting (1828-1902) came to America from Germany.

Adelaide didn't complete her education- the 1940 census stated that the highest grade completed was the 8th grade. She married Frank on 20 May 1924 in Dayton, Ohio.
