1) Answer these questions in my survey about genealogy resources and usage:

a) Which genealogy software programs for your computer do you use? (e.g., Family Tree Maker, Reunion, GRAMPS, etc)?

I just started using Roots Magic 6-- in the past I've used Ancestry.com's downloadable one you can buy and then I've used My Heritage but I didn't like that one.

b) Which online family trees have information submitted by you- in either a separate online tree?

~Ancestry.com

c) For which subscription genealogy record providers (e.g. Ancestry) do you have a subscription?

I have a subscription for Ancestry.com but it was a subscription that I WON - a 6 month world membership.

d) Which FREE genealogy record providers do you use regularly?

~FamilySearch.org
~Findagrave.com
~Google
~Local Heritage Book Emsburen

  1. I'm not familiar with WikiTree - I'll have to look that up. I hope you find both a repository & a society you can go to! They are big helps. What about a local Family History Center where you can view microfilms?
